Veronika Durin-Hornyik is a French-Hungarian multidisciplinary scholar, graduated in law, communication and French studies. She received her PhD in history at the Université Paris-Est in March 2018. Her research, which began in 2007, focuses on the cultural Cold War. Regularly speaking at international conferences and publishing articles, she used to live in Hungary, France, Germany, and now Australia.

Research Interests: International Relations during the 20-21th century, the French-American Cold War relationship, American Foreign Policy and National Security Policy after WW2, France under the Fourth Republic, Central and Eastern Europe in the 20-21th century, Eastern European intellectuals in exile, cultural diplomacy, cultural Cold War, Education and Politics, fellowship programs for exiled students and scholars
